Superhero for Heroes Fundraiser Sept. 9, 2016

What is Superhero for Heroes?

Superheroes for Heroes is a Georgia Child Care Association program used to recognize our everyday heroes while raising awareness and funds for the childcare industry advocacy efforts. In addition GCCA is proud to donate a portion of all proceeds to a veterans charity each year. This  year we will be supporting The Matthew Freeman Project.

Why should your center participate?

Superheroes for Heroes is GCCA's only annual fundraiser. It was developed so that GCCA might raise the necessary funds for your advocacy while keeping membership costs at a minimum. This event is also a fantastic way to teach young children about community and being a good citizen, and to honor September 11th. What better way to develop tomorrow's heroes than by compassionately honoring today's?

How does you center participate?

It's simple. Each teacher, child and staff member will be encouraged to donate $5 to dress up like a Superhero. A superhero can be anyone you define as a hero, from Spiderman to serviceman and everyone in between. Participants can also donate an additional $5 and sponsor a child at a Georgia shelter.

Will this be easy?

YES! A toolkit will be provide which contains everything your center will need to host this event. The toolkit will include a sample press release, sample parent email, and sample time line calendar. It also contains posters, stickers, donation forms.

Please note that registrations received after July 15, 2016 will be emailed a digital downloadable toolkit.
