Bert Brannen and the Fisher Phillips team have been an invaluable resource for us. We have had three or more situations that could have turned into much bigger ordeals if they hadn’t coached us through the process. For how reasonable their quarterly retainer fees are, a preschool owner would have to be crazy not to engage them and keep them on speed dial. The risks are just too great without having them available and on your side.

The Suzuki School has been working with Matt Simpson of Fisher and Phillips since 2012. We worked with Matt to develop a quarterly retainer approach, so that the school directors would call for guidance before taking personnel actions. We wanted to avoid problems, and wanted to invest in legal advice before a problem occurred by properly structure our actions. Matt has been great to work with. He is responsive, informative, and straight forward. In addition, he is patient with us when we are trying to understand complex HR law nuances. Matt has also helped us revise HR policies, acknowledgements, forms, etc. to be best practice and in compliance with law. I have been approached by several law firms to move our HR legal representation to them, and have never considered it. I like to work with Matt because he has the depth of Fisher Phillips for specialized areas, and because he is so responsive. His proactive stance displays great dedication to his work, and really shows in our relationship. I would strongly recommend that you work with Fisher and Phillips and that you retain them so that you address problems proactively. You will find that over time, it saves you a lot of money and headaches!

Why do we do business with Bert Brannen of Fisher and Phillips? Is it because of his expertise? His vast knowledge? Yes, but it's also because we do business with people we know, like, and trust. It's one thing to work with a top rated law firm like Fisher and Phillips, and it's something completely different when a real relationship has been established. After working with Bert on smaller projects over the course of several years, we finally entered into a retainer agreement. He has always been responsive and detail oriented. That's how trust is built. It is clear that he values being there for his clients. Timely communication is a deal breaker for us and without it, we won't do business with a company or individual. Bert has provided us outstanding legal council. It can be hard to find an attorney who is trust worthy and dependable and we are so pleased to have him on our team. After our long association, it is a great comfort to know that we can rely on Bert's legal and business judgment. We look forward to working with him for years to come.
